What refractory mortar does Yankocy stock?
Heat Stop refractory mortar in 15 lb and 50 lb pails and 50 lb bags, Insul Stick high-temperature repair mortar in 20 lb pails, and 50 lb fire clay. Refractory mortar is made to withstand firebox heat and is used to lay firebrick; ordinary masonry mortar is not. Masons can order it with firebrick and flue on one delivery.
What firebrick does Yankocy carry?
Red and white (buff) firebrick, in full (8.25" x 4" x 2.25") and split. Splits are thinner than full firebrick and are used where less depth is available in a firebox or hearth. Firebrick is laid in refractory mortar such as Heat Stop, which Yankocy stocks in pails and bags. Call (203) 261-4955 or email info@yankocy.com.
What clay flue liner sizes are stocked?
Logan Clay flue lining, sold by the full pallet: standard from 8.5"x8.5" to 24"x24", modular 8"x8" and 12"x12", round flue in 6", 8", 10", 12" and 15", and thimbles from 6" to 12". Chimney caps come in stainless, stainless painted and galvanized painted, from 8"x8" to 18"x18".
What dampers and fireplace hardware are available?
Vestal dampers and damper valves from 24" to 72", multi-opening dampers, VestalAir units, cast iron cleanout doors from 8"x8" to 12"x16", poker controls, outside, rear and side air kits and ash dumps, plus Lyemance dampers from 8"x8" to 17"x17". Yankocy sells them wholesale to mason yards.
